In my experience of being in the field for over 20 years, I definitely agree with the article, assessing your current competencies in social work practice is crucial to ensuring that you're providing the highest quality of care to your clients. It helps you to identify areas where you excel, as well as areas where you may need further development. By taking the time to assess your competencies, you'll be better equipped to meet the needs of your clients and make a positive impact in their lives. This is what I also tell my supervisees.
