Between 1980 and 1995, "game art" was in the same category as game graphics. Although studios and developers were attempting artistic endeavors, "game art" mainly emerged in games after 1995. For a while, its popularity overshadowed advancements in graphics in games. However, rapidly advancing technology led to graphics in games again taking the forefront. Yet, with the expansion of the indie game sector, "game art" has returned to the forefront, even becoming a preference for players. I have recently found myself more interested in works combining "game art" with gameplay rather than constantly evolving and good-looking graphics. Cuphead is the first example that comes to mind.

When gathering feedback from players, it's always important that you DON'T SAY ANYTHING ????? Let them speak their minds, the good, the bad, everything. When someone critiques something, tears it apart even, to me that's the greatest compliment I could get. The honest pure feedback of someone seeing a product for the first time is something you'll never get a chance with. So make it count. Hope this helps! ??

Therefore, constructive criticism of players is vital for keeping your games alive or breathing new life into them Towards the end of the 1990s, transitioning from forum and internet comments to today's social media and instant messaging platforms has, in a way, helped studios to turn away from potential mistakes before completing the games. Additionally, having served as a forum admin on a vast gaming webpage in the early 2000s, player feedback has been much more mature, guiding, and free from fanaticism over the past five years.

Amount of cosmetics unlocked or purchased could be a good indicator that you are aligned with players visual choice. After all, they wouldnt have purchased it if they didnt like the way game looks, feels or animations work.
