It's important that everyone involved in the process is accountable, not just the coachee. The manager also has accountability throughout the life-cycle of the program. Establishing a clear set of accountable goals is paramount in order to see on-going progress with actions aligned to the goals. Ultimately the coachee is responsible for achieving the goals with support from managers and coach. This provides clarity throughout the program. Follow this up with 360 feedback to understand the overall impact for the team/organisation etc.

2 Choose your evaluation methods

Depending on your goals and metrics, you may use different methods and tools to collect and analyze data on your coaching and mentoring initiatives. Surveys and questionnaires are useful to gather feedback and opinions from coaches, mentors, mentees, and other stakeholders. Interviews and focus groups are more in-depth and qualitative ways to explore the experiences, challenges, and benefits of coaching and mentoring.
