I agree but I don’t feel this is a problem as long as you stick with a modern service or software. There are older LMSs out there that may not be responsive but hopefully they are becoming more and more rare. Depending on the size of your company and whether or not your company can host a website, I would recommend WordPress as a cheap alternative to the expensive LMS cloud platforms out there. Besides hosting fees, for free you can spin up a WordPress site with a free or cheap LMS plugin. And you can customize it to no end!

Yes! Less is more. It’s an art to create training that is minimal yet still gets all points across. But, that should be your goal whenever possible. This helps when viewing the LMS lessons on mobile devices but it also helps the learning process in general. It’s simple. More clutter and content equates to brain overload.

Training can be boring. If you have the budget and support, look for an LMS that has eye catching, boredom reducing, interactive features. Don’t be afraid to mix and match. You might have a LMS for some content, then interactive video software, and on top of that AI videos. Of course, you won’t always have the budget, but with the right LMS, graphics, and video you can get close to what some of the fancier and expensive tools can do.
