While it would be fantastic if they didn’t need to get in touch, I find a positive interaction with CS to get started using the platform, even if it means they didn’t pay attention in training, is always a good jump-start towards a dedicated user.

Training sessions with the best impact on my customers had a clear agenda and concise objectives upfront. If in-person training is not viable, then conduct live virtual demos using real-world scenarios that the end users would expect to see. This and utilizing hands-on exercises where they replicate what they just learned helps them relate to the features and retain knowledge. Recording short how-to videos of step-by-step instructions on different features allows the customer a reference if questions arise in the future. Allowing a quicker resolution and saving time from reaching out to the customer success team. Finally, a user manual specifically created for the customer's implementation should always be delivered with the project.
