It's all about work. Want to deliver the expected results you have to out work everyone. It's nice to sit and analyze numbers data whatever but it all comes down to work. Yes you can be smart about it, yes there are things that can help keep you organized, yes there are systems and know how relevant to the industry. In my experience there isn’t a one size fits all philosophy for your customers. There are several different ways you can come through on your promises, but the thing that I have noticed with all my customers is that transparency is key. Be honest, and don’t shy away from the tough conversations. It’s the most important thing to do before you can deliver on your promises.

I believe this to be one of the biggest things when it comes to customer relationships. It's crucial for businesses to follow through on their promises and exceed expectations. If they can't deliver, it's better to communicate in advance.

One of the biggest pieces of advice I was ever given was that both good information and bad information are still much needed information. There are way too many people that unfortunately do not explain the bad information. I firmly believe that you can build a relationship more from the bad situations rather than the good. You are able to stand out way more if you show them the “bad” situation, and explain in detail how you will resolve it. Don’t be scared of the tough conversations.
