The challenges described over here are reflective of the reality, however I don't see them as challenges for UX but rather challenge for product development, where UX is one the ways to overcome these challenges. Good designers thrive in this environment, finding ways to make a product that meets user needs while considering al these conditions and constraints. It can be frustrating sometimes to not get to the most desirable product, but don't underestimate your impact on many professionals when you have found a better way of getting the job done.

To overcome these challenges and deliver a positive user experience in enterprise software, UX designers should follow some basic principles. First, UX designers should conduct user research and testing to understand the context, problems, and goals of the target users, and to validate their assumptions and solutions. The difference could be that the product development environment for enterprise software sometimes is not optimized for these standards and it demands that a designer can find a way to still get the job done. A common scenario is that access to users or data can be a challenge, so you have to be creative in gathering your insights and will need to guide the organization to a more user-centered design mindset.

You are impacting the life of a professional, that spends a large part of the day doing that job. The decisions made with the software can have a massive contribution to the success of a business. It does require a resilient, adaptable, and optimistic mindset to pull it off, but can be very challenging and rewarding.
