The data impact framework needs to address both. Defining the business strategy and vital assumptions is essential as is outlining the societal strategy and change assumptions. Within business and societal strategies, metrics are required to understand trends, results, and gaps. The metrics need to be communicated clearly to all stakeholders, along with the results. It is creating a learning model so that the business and stakeholders can adapt as new insights are gained from the metrics.

The impact of data is measured by its ability to enhance decision-making and processes. Key metrics include Return on Investment (ROI), improvements in operational efficiency, changes in customer satisfaction, increases in conversion rates, and the achievement of strategic goals. In terms who this works for - analytically mature organizations, especially those who have a familiarity with their data, are the candidates as they would have a high degree of contextual knowledge needed.
