Background and education mean very little if you already understand how to work and effectively communicate with others. The best inside salespeople I have worked with were natural in everyday conversation. Whether introverted or extroverted, they knew how to talk to other people in phone call, emails, and face-to-face. Strong communications skills outshine product knowledge, CRM experience or a college degree at getting your foot in the door because everything else is easy to learn IF we are effective communicators and good listeners.

What are the things that make you special? Are you very good at finding solutions where others see problems? Are you good with computers? Are you lazy enough to find creative ways to automate things that are tedious and repetitive? How do you go about solving problems? What is a discovery call?
