IT infrastructure team lead need to embrace transformational leadership skills by fostering innovation and adaptability to cater a human-centric strategy by prioritising the needs of team members and stakeholders. Demonstrating expertise in cutting-edge technologies while aligning IT infrastructure with business objectives is instrumental to ensure results. The suggestion is very superficial and to my opinion NOT PRACTICAL. It’s silly to think that you’ll gain leadership skills from online courses, books or workshops; that’s akin to saying you can be proficient (not just awareness) in swimming by watching 100hrs of YouTube videos. To be a good swimmer, you’ll have to jump into the pool. True Leadership requires engagement, trust building and constant communication, and we can only learn it from hands-on experience. I believe one already becomes a leader even before having the title. It’s also important to note, we have to experience both good leadership and bad leadership; that way we know what to continue doing and what to leave behind.
