As an avid content creator, livestreamer and an ambassador for a software company who caters to YouTube creators I spend a lot of time on camera. It is not uncommon for me to stream 4-5 times per week. Maintaining a schedule like this can be tedious; there is a lot of preparatory work that goes into a good stream and the more preparation the better it will be. This alone can take up a good portion of my week... and it can begin to get really draining. I expend a lot of energy bringing 110% me for every conversation I am involved with and sometimes that can get rough. It's ok to take time off. It's ok to be the boss you always wanted and to tell your audience "no." You can have some "me" time. Be kind to yourself.

My flight plan includes: Tech check: Everything is connecting and working as expected Content check: Notes, graphics, sound files, links Personal check: Clothing, drink, notes, toilet, feelings/nerves, confidence I set my focus on the value I provide and leverage my strengths. After each session, I reflect on what worked, what didn't, and how I can improve.
