That is super useful in order when Solution contains multiple teams and workstreams.

So that the urge of building anything anywhere is limited and cost of correction is lowered. And we don't need to re-engineer the whole project later. Communicating why the Selection of Technology Components were made and How the components will work together to deliver the solution, is the core responsibility of a Solution Architecht while working with Project Team. Project Team delivers the Architectural Design prepared by the Solution Architect. Solution Architect needs to communicate this to the Solution Designers, Business Analysts and other executing team members.

Project roles should be flexible at the boundaries. It is expected and often necessary for at least some team members to specialize in an area of functionality or technical skill, but team members can also leverage their skills outside of their focus area to load-balance and assist other team members and bandwidth ebbs and flows.
