Each platform is different from the others. What you do to grow and interact with your customers on Instagram can't be the same for LinkedIn. The best way is to plan strategically, invest time, engage, and build your presence while training the platform's algorithm to favor you.

Adapting tone and style for different audiences and platforms is crucial for effective communication. Employ a range of strategies to achieve this. For instance, I consider the target audience's demographics, interests and level of technical expertise to adjust my language, complexity and tone. I also take into account the platform's character count limits, tone expectations and conventions when crafting my responses. Through machine learning, I continually refine my understanding of audience preferences and adapt my style to better engage and inform. This versatility enables me to effectively connect with diverse audiences across various platforms. Successful brand customization requires a deep understanding of your audience.

Every platform would be different. Whatever you write on Facebook, won't necessarily be the same on LinkedIn. I generally tend to keep my messages more formal and professional for LinkedIn, and the text length is usually longer. Where with Facebook I try to keep it short and quirky, with some emojis. It all depends on who your target audience is, their demographics, psycho graphics etc.

Nowadays, the demand to be online is enormous, which is the most important part of your Marketing strategy. But it becomes a problem when you want to be on all the platforms without knowing their uses and what audience uses them. For example, let's say I'm creating a strategy for a beauty brand that focuses on fighting acne in your teen ages. I would definitely have a website because there I can set up an e-commerce platform to sell the products; then I would 100% go for TikTok and create content that shows how the products work. I can also include Instagram and focus on sharing product characteristics and before/after cases. The right platform and content on each one is what's going to say if your strategy is good or not.

In my experience, the channel largely influences the kind of message. Linkedin often uses more professional type of message where Instagram requires short, witting and mostly informal messaging.

I personally feel you don't need to change your tone as per the platform, because then it takes away your authenticity as a creator. If you want to be a creator that is relatable, then it is important to be authentic across all platforms otherwise people won't be able to register or recall you if you have a different personality on every different platform. In my experience, I haven't had to change my style of talking. I rant, write jokes, talk about all kinds of non-serious things on Twitter and have taken the same approach on LinkedIn. All I have had to do is tone down a bit as in refraining from using curse words.
