Or think about compressing video to 1080p and not blindly adding 8K video into your projects. Alongside the creator, the authoring tool can also play a role in this. Check if your authoring tool has automatic compression for your video. Or if your delivery platform can check the current internet speed of your participants and for example deliver a 240p version of the video to decrease any technical issues.

Some gamified environments are better than traditional video form factor for engagement, flexibility, and accessibility. Videos can be costly to edit when anything referenced within them changes. When content can be easily tailored, yet still be interactive, it is more engaging for learners.

With the increasing adoption of eLearning, ensure that the learning is accessible to a diverse range of learners. For example, videos with closed captions or transcripts can be beneficial for learners who are hearing impaired or for those who prefer to read along.

Also, optimize content to your devices or platforms to make sure the content fits to the platform design in order to maximize the learning experience.

Immersive content, in graphic novel format provides more contextual learning. Having highly interactive content keeps learners focused on the content, especially for corporate or awareness training. Use visually dynamic elements within the design, and provide psychological drivers such as "unexpectedness" to maintain engagement.

Organize your online learning content by order of importance and group related concepts. Instead of one long online learning course, break it down into smaller modules that focus on core competencies and skills.

Much like businesses meticulously plan their product launches by setting clear objectives and devising measurable criteria to gauge their success, the same level of diligence should be applied to E-learning content. Companies should define program objectives, align desired outcomes with these objectives, and carefully chart out the methods for measuring the attainment of these outcomes within the content.

Immersive, gamified simulation exercises are excellent for showing learners realistic situations they will face, and allowing them to practice making decisions without being shamed in public or frustrated if they make an incorrect choice.
