So at any point of time in the project the team can refer to the bugs logged in that user story which is really helpful when the team is doing regression testing as the QA team can go back and refer if the same bugs are occurring while regression testing

In my experience both Zephyr and Jira are more developer-focused and are suited better to small to medium sized agile projects. As a V&V specialist working in the Defence sector I have found that IBM’s Rational Team Concert paired with Rational Quality Manager provide a more reliable and robust toolset, which extends to seamless integration with other IBM tools such as DOORS Next Generation for the purpose of requirements management.

The Zephyr Squad version - doesn't provide history for the executions. This means that if you execute a test and after that you update the test steps, it will impact the execution you have done previously for that test. I think this is solved in the Zephyr Cloud - not 100% sure but you can have a look. It might be that for some this is a problem, because you will like to reuse the tests in multiple executions and also to be able to update them from time to time, and because of this limitation you will need to clone the tests and use the cloned one so that it won't affect your previous execution.

It allows clearer picture to Management and with reporting, all can have a better view of testing efforts carried. What features are tested and percentage of coverage completed. Zephyr Scale allows us to update testcases while testing and the updated ones are used for it. Allows us to complete routine testing for maintenance purposes.
