To increase your chances of standing out to potential employers follow below mentioned points- - Customize your resume highlighting your skills, experiences, and achievements. - Mention your accomplishments and the positive impact you made in your previous jobs. - Craft a compelling cover letter that reflects your passion for the role, showcases your understanding of the company, and explains how your unique skills will contribute to the organization's success.

Take the time to really learn about the company, the people that work there and the industry they operate in. What does that mean? Read articles on them, what they're quoted in, what they're saying on Linkedin. If they're publicly-traded, read their quarterly reports. When you start to understand the pulse of the org, what they're interested in and what they're talking about, you'll feel much more comfortable filling out the application. There are 3 benefits here: Most others won't do this, and it'll eventually come through, you'll actually learn a lot and you'll be that much more knowledgable whether you move through the process at your target company or with their competitor.

I'd suggest you do two other things. Start building a "brag sheet" with all your accomplishments from your various jobs. And make sure that the Challenge, Action, and Results tie back to what the company says it's looking for in the job description. And don't keep revising LinkedIn to meet the needs of a specific role you're applying for.
