Here's more help to avoid turning Cinderella's carriage into a pumpkin: Design: Advocate for in-circuit-emulator concepts to validate onboard software before activation. Test: HWIL lab testing is essential—don't skimp on ground models. Symmetry: Ensure CM replication between HWIL lab & flight environments. Even consider link emulators to simulate propagation delay, etc. Procedures: Adhere to Flight SOPs with HWIL testing. Validation: Embrace IV&V to mitigate risk. SOPs: Scrutinize onboard aspects including power levels, solar weather, AOS/LOS if applicable, storage, & time to upload SW.
