The role of the teacher in assessing on online platform has become one of tracking relevant contribution in context and it is necessary to understand each learners unique style of learning and interactions and facilitate opportunities and platforms that serve and enable their learning.

Google classroom has options where you can grade the assignments or return it back. Moodle has this option as well. However, we need to be mndful of the criteria we have to add. Google Quiz ids a good option where you can flip answers as well.

This increases learner accountability and investment. One note is a great tool that allows for multilingual use where learners can view each others work, and leave suggestions for improvement.

Digital portfolios never fail the teacher or the learner. It is an artefact/product that learners work on for the duration of the project and it allows them to showcase their learning to the world. Getting learners invested in a portfolio means they will remember the project and the process long after they leave your classrooms and it provides them a template for future multimodal inquiry. Use portfolios! you can't go wrong with it. I like padlets to capture different strands and modes of thinking, I also like canva for the ease of design and collaborative potential.
