There is little difference between the terminology "Swim lane" and "Flow Chart" other than to introduce new terminology and therefore lack of understanding to the "code" We grossly over complicate the industry with new languages, whether its apps, software or just creating acronym's which confuses those who do not have knowledge of said code. What we require is clarity of process and language. If clarified, we could save the industry billions...... I spend my day "Translating" the confusion driven by the above.

So to create Swimlane diagram, it doesn’t require extensive softwares but regular office tools are good enough to create it- 1. Microsoft Excel 2. Microsoft Power Point or Word 3. Microsoft Visio Etc.
