Storytelling is an art that hooks its readers to the words. Science and Technology are all about creativity and if you talk about the particular things which interests the audience in a storytelling way the readers won't be able to leave the blog. That's how addictive storytelling makes people.

We are more inclined to become involved in a character's journey when we can relate to them and their problems. A further degree of excitement and significance is added when science and technology are meaningfully incorporated into the story.

That's how peaceful the town is even there's disagreement and discrimination in between. Now we've established the character & settings, what next?

During my first year teaching high school at an inner city school with students who first language was not English was hard enough until I met Marcos then the job seemed almost impossible. Marcos terrorized me by inciting his classmates to call me names like the white devil and worse in Spanish. I had no control of class and I feared for my job. I found out that he was terrorizing all his teachers so I had to out smart him which I did and I did not share my final solution with his other teachers because I was trying to keep my job and I needed to stand out to survive. In fact I was the only teacher out of 35 that started the same year as me that did!

Sometimes you don't have enough time or enough character development if you put too many characters. So in my opinion a few well developed and innovative characters can capture a young person's imagination and it doesn't matter what or how you said the character was they made it their own and take your character to heart. Beloved characters don't have a ton of diversity they are just well developed and so the reader makes the character speak to them making the story loved even if the original character didn't have certain characteristics the reader developed a back story that now makes the character very personal.

When it comes to topics like science and technology some terminologies can go over the heads of kids and young adults and this makes them lose interest. Because of this, the element of incorporating story telling in ones teachings will go a long way to make the whole session enjoyable. That being the case, it is essential that the story telling will be in a language that will be very clear and easy for the audience to understand. That being said, it is important that during the story telling session, one tries to avoid science and technology jargoons. One may try to use things around them or things that the audience can come into contact with during their day to day activities to help them appreciate what ever they are learning more.

To tell your story well, keep it simple. Don't use confusing scientific terminology. Instead, use everyday words, examples, and stories. Add jokes, feelings, or talking to make your story interesting. Using easy-to-understand language helps people understand and enjoy your story. For example, when talking about complex science things, compare them to things we are familiar with. For example, imagine explaining genes (the things that make us who we are) like a recipe. Genes are like ingredients, and when you mix them, you get different traits (how we look or act). This way, people get the idea without getting lost in difficult details.

When you're telling stories, make it as simple as possible that even an 8 years old loves to listen. Make the story fun and imaginative with simple tone. Joe, the space cowboy from Mars loves root beer. When he drinks it, you can always spot the foam on his moustache. I guess he loves to keep that foam on his face as he could never grow a single facial hair anyway. Wrote as you build imagination around your reader, that's how enjoyable and engaging it's going to be. It's a great way in delivering messages to your audience effectively.

KISS-Keep it simple Samuel. Jargon is for the after action reports, when the amply educated can review and revise. But for the rest of us, we need to have simplicity to survive in these complicated times.

Presenting science and technlogy in a way that relates directly to their lives helps bring abstract concepts to life. Now, you implement other visual data to further supports your story-telling but not too overwhelming, you're not writing an academic paper. As always, keep it simple, simple is attractive.

The Memory Palace technique is fun and it makes information stick better in the neocortex. It has made a huge breakthrough with the Virtual Palaces (apps that offer a visual image of a room where you can place the objects (concepts) you are trying to remember, as it is easy for a child to run out of places in their palace to store information, since they usually have a limited experience of places they have visited in real life.

Add to your narrative with a dash of originality and a takeaway message to make science and technology truly unforgettable. We humans love surprises and mystery. We love how the story uncover certain secrets one piece at a time. With additional takeaway that can be portrayed as a lessons or key messages to the readers. Joe, the space cowboy from Mars was never a Martian to begin with, he came to Mars with his parents when he was a toddler when pollution on planet Earth has became too severe and it became non-habitable. All the animals and plants are long gone by now, once busy cities became empty, nations reduced to wastelands. Humans became greedy and cut all the trees down, spill oil and toxic waste into rivers and oceans. Joe knows that he could never see what was once his home anymore. but we still have ours, how are we gonna make a difference?
