This does not mean trying to please, agree with or acquiesce to all viewpoints - practically impossible in many cases. It does however mean taking every challenging response, complaint and wild suggestion seriously - at the very least giving sensible responses / feedback. It could mean that you should be prepared to make substantial and significant changes to your operation, standards of work, end goals and communications. At the very least, listen well and respond without delay.
