Be comfortable with being uncomfortable: Listen to others’ perspectives, what they’ve been through, how they became who they are, even if it makes you uncomfortable. (Especially in race relations, there’s a LOT there.) There are layers to humans. Take the time to listen. You never know what you can learn about one’s background, all the facets that make up the gem. ?????
