There has to be a realisation that the skills that make businesses successful are innovating so fast that the leadership simply cannot be masters for them. Therefore the leadership needs to rethink its role to focus on strategic placement of skills. This means listening more to where the skills are to be able to understand how and where to focus on those skills so value can be efficiently created. But this extends to so many areas, social, generational, diversity, etc. The skill to listen to the changing aspects of every area will unlock the ability to maximise value creation and stay far more relevant to the market being played in.

However, a teacher must strive to know "something" about "everything". The best way to learn new things is to be open-minded and embrace new knowledge. Me parece que además de desarrollar o redescubrir las habilidades blandas, una mentoría inversa nos permite entendernos o vernos como un recurso estratégico de gran valor. Ojos más jóvenes hacen la diferencia en el enfoque de lo que hasta ahora hemos visto como inamovible porque es parte de nuestra experiencia.
