As a Quality Management professional, I shape my career as I desired regardless stick to one particular industry segment. I prefer to work with sevearal industries to enhance my knowledge and finding new challenges. Current QMS is mainly Process Approach and Risk based thinking which encourages me to choose industry, learning and development makes my decision perfect and flawless. Apart from QMS knowledge, I should learn specific skillsets that exactly matches with industry choosen and fetch to work.

So, it`s very important to know more about the target industry, understand it`s requirements, and which of your transferable skills will help you excel in it, also this will help you identify what additional skills or knowledge you need to gain or improve.

To change industries, it is very important to expand your network, this will help you know more about the industry, qualifications, and skills needed, roles, and responsibilities, and will also help you keep an eye on the available opportunities. "Cambiar la industria" lo entiendo como lograr tener un impacto positivo en la organización. Lo primero es entender bien en profundidad cuál es el negocio del cliente, luego detectar los procesos que son susceptibles de mejorarse más fácilmente y generarán un gran impacto.
