My perspective is Setup:Securely position the laser and sensor on rotating elements, aligning them with the rotational axis.Baseline Measurement:Capture initial misalignment data by manually rotating the equipment.Adjustment:Analyze data, make incremental adjustments, and continuously monitor alignment in real-time.Verification:Rotate the equipment again and recheck alignment to ensure successful corrections.

It seems we are talking of a rotating assembled machine. As there may be hundreds & thousands of parts in it , it is necessary to pin point root cause of the problem. Simply going for a laser alignment may not end up in correcting a Machining or machine acquired errors. Besides Laser we have so many methods in Metrology. Unlike human health Diagnostic where we have medicine, in MANUFACTURING we no such curative measures, even remachining will also will make the part unusable. So we should better go for a better quality machine which will ensure not only design required dimensions, fits & tolerance and surface finishes but also concentricity circularity waviness etc. A better machinetool having good rigidity & dynamic stability be used.
