Incident Response ist bei vielen Unternehmen noch sehr IT-lastig gepr?gt. Sprich, aus der IT-Forensik werden weitere Services, h?ufig durch weitere Dienstleister erg?nzt. Was jedoch h?ufig zu kurz kommt ist, ein ganzheitlicher Gedanke. Was braucht der Kunde? Der Kunde braucht in einer Notsituation L?sungen. Vor allem weil er in einem Cyberangriff in einer neuen Situation ist. Eingeschr?nkte Technik, erschwerte Kommunikation, hoher Druck vom Kunden / weiteren Stakeholdern. Folglich müssen die L?sungen sehr umfassend sein. Sprich man analysiert was passiert ist (IT-Forensik), kümmert um den Notbetrieb (BCM) und baut zus?tzlich einen funktionierenden Krisenstab inkl. einer passenden Krisenkommunikation auf.

My niche is "Incident Response Leader" (or manager). IR Leaders should be thought leaders, always learning, improving, and inspiring the team to strive for success. IR relies on skilled technical personnel/specialists who have many skills and personalities. While technical skills can be taught, grooming a competent IR lead is crucial for a successful IR team. Without guidance, the team's efforts may falter. In an incident, the IR Leader heards the cats and takes charge of orchestrating an effective response and recovery. Coordinating diverse technical specialists, communicating with stakeholders, and implementing measures to mitigate the incident's impact. The IR Lead is central to knitting together and enhancing the team for success.

Das schwierige ist, dass Incident Response und vor allem Cyberkrisenmanagement noch relativ junge Disziplinen sind. Vor allem wenn man die Themen ganzheitlich, also gemeinsam betrachtet. Eine ideale Wissensvermittlung kann durch Erfahrungsberichte oder Expertenrunden von spezialisierten Incident Respondern erfolgen. Bei einer einzelnen Betrachtung, z.B. der Krisenkommunikation ist, dass dieses Thema in sich gut funktioniert. Wenn jedoch ein sehr technisches Thema (Ransomwareangriff) kommuniziert werden soll, braucht das Krisenkommunikationsunternehmen entweder sehr gute übersetzer oder eigene Fachkompetenzen in dem Bereich.

Im Incident Responsebereich gibt es immer noch zu wenig Einblicke. Krisen sind immer noch unangenehme Situationen und aus dem Grund wird zu wenig darüber gesprochen. Hier kann man ein Vordenker sein, wenn zum einen die Themen sehr ganzheitlich und kundenorientiert gelebt werden aber auch zum anderen wenn man darüber offen spricht. Kunden die hier sehr offen mit dem Vorfall umgehen, k?nnen z.B. erweiterte Freigaben zur Kommunikation geben oder sogar bei Kongressen / Fachmessen auftreten, ggf. LinkedIn Beitr?ge verfassen. Als Vordenker sollte man st?rker in die Kommunikation gehen und das Thema klarer und deutlicher machen.
