How can you use content writing and editing to support your sales goals?

I always say that you have to give before you ask. It's silly the way some sites pop up with a request to allow notifications or provide your email or subscribe before you can even see if they're useful to you. Giving before asking means offering useful and/or entertaining content, perhaps more than once, before asking for anything. Or better yet supplying something so awesome that visitors trust you and go to you when they need the service you provide. It's the softest of sells, and that's where good content shines.

Sometimes it's not about the content but what techniques you use in the copywriting. For example, Kayla mentioned P-A-S, which is a copywriting formula. Another good one is A-I-D-A, which means Attention, Interest, Desire and Action. The best way to do this with no copywriting experience is to start with a bold statement, one that will stop your ideal customer from scrolling, present information that will get their attention, state the benefits of your products or service (this creates desire) and then ask for a sign up or purchase. Apply proven formulas to help ensure that your copy converts. P-A-S is a classic! Problem: Show your ideal customer that you understand the problem they are facing 100%. If you've been there too, tell your story. Agitate: Ask, what's the emotional impact of this problem? Point that out. But don't twist the knife too hard. Just show that you really do get what they're going through and be empathetic to their situation. Solve: Now it's time to show that there's a solution out there, and you're the one with it. Sell the outcome - that wow transformation that your ideal client craves.

La persuasión comienza cuando emocionamos a nuestro público objetivo evocando sentimientos que puede tener por algún problema o deseo no satisfecho. Luego conseguimos generar confianza en lo que ofrecemos. Ya sea a través de nuestra autoridad, testimonios o casos de éxitos, y por último, usamos la lógica para que nos compre. Persuadir y convertir a tu audiencia va más allá de una fórmula o estrategia de ventas, va de usar estos 3 pilares para que tomen acción y compren.

Además al probar una estrategia de atracción de leads, podemos descartarla si no funciona o mejorarla si vemos que está dando los resultados que esperamos.
