Though benchmarking and KPIs set an index or baseline and convert any progress as measurable objective for a firm, but as stated above, it should be baseline not the standard recording UPTO of of a performance. So, benchmarking may be added with KPIs set by the organisation to measure the performance stating it as a minimum achievement. Moreover, it must kept in mind that EVEN THE BEST CAN BE IMPROVED, so keep progressing.
