For Transformation & Quality checks - it would be useful to have a Rules engine with ready made code. GitHub's Copilot is able to generate code with the right prompts. A rules engine / cohort can be created to selectively apply chosen subsets to specific parts of a given pipeline. To augment and NOT disturb existing pipeline - libraries like async & patterns like Side car would be useful for in-situ execution.

Having a Rules engine with a repository of pre-programmed rules can help here. GitHub copilot to auto-generate code and Rules orchestration / APIs to call specific subsets on the go. This will help automate testing. And added advantage of scoring helps provide reliability score.

Automation goes a long way in speeding up Migration that is tied to actual business value. But the need & strategy for migration are more pertinent / crucial to the business. Need - Why is migration needed? Volumes, functional & monetary value to business ascertaining et al. Strategy - Consider volumes, business & operational priorities, cut over mechanism & bridging the gap between old & new apps / services using the data being migrated et al.
