You can create animation with AI nowadays but the 3D and immersive, dense are really expensive and not easy to produce because you need a big budget and you do not have the certain of the results. A lot of clients consider the visuals but leave very little for music, sound effects and voiceovers when those are needed. Yet, in animation half of the animation comes from what sounds you hear, how great the music is and if there are voiceovers, they can help land that last bit of what you want to land with your clients.

I am a music producer. What I can say, based on what I lived and did, is that you can definitely achieve a better goal by writing songs when you have the script, storyboard or both in hands. You can dive deeper and produce a song that will be unique and exclusive for the animation production. It’s obvious that you can also choose a song that already exists, but for that, in terms of animation you need to think in a very different way depending of the project.
