1 Acknowledge the feedback

The first step is to acknowledge the feedback, whether it comes from your beneficiaries, donors, partners, or staff. This means listening attentively, expressing gratitude, and avoiding defensiveness or denial. Acknowledging the feedback does not mean agreeing with it, but rather showing respect and openness to the person who gave it.

In my opinion, demonstrated gratitude towards the person who provided feedback (negative or positive) is a very important element of the organizational culture. It allows openness to spread all over the organization. Feeling grateful for the time and effort the person invested in to give you feedback can be learnt. I recommend to reframe the initial bad feeling in this way when you hear negative feedback about your program.

Já tive a oportunidade de receber e dar feedbacks, em algumas situa??es foram super positivos em outras n?o foi t?o bom assim, contudo aprendi que cada situa??es tem um jeito de ser tratado, mas o importante é n?o sempre que precisar da o feedback ou até mesmo pedir feedback de pessoas na qual você confia.
