The challenge lay in the positive perception associated with it, where individuals with potbellies were often viewed as successful. To ensure sensitivity, we sought the consent of individuals with abdominal obesity, asking if they would like to be featured. We captured striking photographs of these volunteers, complemented by informative captions detailing facts about abdominal obesity, its causes, and potential health implications. The participants not only enjoyed the experience but also gained valuable education. The campaign proved highly successful, reaching over 9 million people.
