Usually the buyer will need to adapt to how the SaaS is and follow its rules. Software as a Product is when the buyer has the ability to customize the software to his specific needs and do all necessary changes according to his process and workflows In summary SaaS is when the buyer follows the vendor’s instructions and SaaP is when the vendor follows the buyer’s instructions
