Pay attention to the security measures embedded: - Hints about password requirements. If there is no, put at least one special symbol, capital letter, number. - if there is no even email confirmation in the application, then developers doesn't consider security. Unfortunately - if app doesnt't require periodical password update, do it on the monthly basis

Every cloud service typically uses encryption of HTTPS protocol and SSL-certificates. Your DevOps has to check the validity of the SSL certificates permanently. On the user's side pay attention not to send sensitive data in the data pumpline. Please use at least 2FA authentification for the most sensitive places where you will need to put the code recieved in the SMS or email.

Backup is essential. It goes without saying. I recommend to agree on the frequency of backups. First of all, you have to backup the database (which by the way can be done automatically if you store it in AWS or other respectable service). Server backups can be useful as well.

One thing you should mention is using MFA. MFA can lower the risk of unauthorized access to your cloud infrastructure. This cause higher security for your accounts and resources.

Role based access control (hereinafter - RBAC) + 2-factor authentication (hereinafter - 2FA) for every login are of great importance. RBAC means that you grant only several permissions to some group of users. Instead of granting all permissions by default. 2FA for every login lets check each and every access to the system. The code could be sent to you every time when somebody tries to login to the system. And if it happens on Sunday night it’s gonna be absolutely strange. In this case you need to inform devs and delete the granted device if it was stolen or lost.
