Scammers often create a sense of urgency to trick you into acting quickly without thinking. Verify the Source Independently, Never use the contact information provided in a suspicious message. Instead, find the official website or phone number of the company or agency and contact them directly to verify the legitimacy of the request.

Wir dürfen niemals den menschlichen Faktor au?er Acht lassen. Er muss immer Teil der Strategie und des Konzeptes sein. Die Bedrohungslage wird sich immer wieder ?ndern und massiver werden insbesondere durch AI/KI. Wir müssen eine Kultur des sog. Scheiterns etablieren. Fehler sind erlaubt und führen wiederum zu neuen Erkenntnisse. Nichtsdestotrotz müssen wir die Mitarbeitenden mit aktuellen Patches der Soft- und Hardware versorgen, MFA und VPN verpflichtend einführen, Passwortpolicies einführen und leben. Daneben müssen wir trainieren und lernen, kontinuierlich. Und transparent und offen über das, was Social Engineering ist und bezweckt reden. Dort wo Fehler erlaubt sind wird niemand dafür angeprangert wenn er doch mal geklickt hat ;-)
