A nivel de autorización de acceso, es recomendable configurar múltiples factores de autenticación (autenticación fuerte: 2FA, biometría, certificados digitales unipersonales, entre otros), especialmente para los dispositivos más críticos, esto con el fin de asegurar que sean los usuarios autorizados en realidad los que tienen acceso.

Recomendaría tener en cuenta adicionalmente: - Actualización permante del firmware: Para corrección de vulnerabilidades direcamente por el fabricante. - Encriptación de datos de extremoa a extremo: Mitiga el riesgo asociado al robo o acceso a la información mientra se realiza el proceso de transferencia o comunicación. - Segmentar la red: Disminuye el alcance del ataque al no permitir acceso a otros recursos de la red, y permite gestionar de mejor manera la administración de los dispositivos.
