It is extremely important not to rely 100% on QA tools and always include human check. While they may be good for detecting spelling errors, format and style, when it comes to cultural nuances, there is only one way to check if the text is relevant and can be used - human judgement.

Use as complete a spellcheck dictionary as possible, and import still more terminology if you can. Also be sure to configure the QA tool to recognize standard abbreviations and contractions in the target language, so that ordinary words like "don't" or "wouldn't" aren't falsely flagged as errors. However, be sure to thoroughly check any terminology you add to the glossary, because some clients provide terminology lists that are garbage. Some simply contain terminology that is wrong, Others May List Their Terminology Completely In Title Case, misspell things, and include local terms that are not understood in other countries that speak the language. Use caution.

3 Review your TQA reports

If you find yourself making a terminology mistake again and again, such as mistaking "none" for "one" in some language, add the mistaken term to your own termbase, so that your CAT tool's own QA checker will catch it. It's better than trusting your own eye.

5 Balance your TQA usage

La tecnología llegó para quedarse. Sin embargo, hay que saber hacer sabio uso de ella, no hay que excedernos ya que podemos perjudicar nuestra salud. Por otro lado, no podemos depender 100% de ella porque al fin y al cabo, es una máquina o un software que nunca tendrá la precisión humana para pasar un texto de una lengua a otra respetando las normas culturales del país que leerá nuestro trabajo.

The simplest way to overcome drawbacks is by knowing when to use or not to use translation quality assurance. False positive results can create a bottleneck, and therefore it is useful to know how to disable the TQA software component that causes them.
