Before finalizing the drawings by the engineers, it is useful to look at the drawings from the constructor perspective or if not sure liaise with an experienced contractor. Certainly, avoid discrepancies and ambiguities in each and all drawing sheets, double check the accuracy of drawing captions for IFC marking, revision numbers/dates, N direction ....

There are a lot of great opinions above so I wanted to offer an outside the box approach. I think a creative approach would be to reverse engineer our approach to this. Start with descriptively determining the livability struggles from tenants and maintenance personnel. Then incorporate their needs and ideas into the drawings. The results will produce a better flow and live ability in the construction drawings.

I just want to add something that might seem silly, which is writing down a procedure or making checklist where add all the procedures in-order and by ticking each pre step you can go future. It might seem ridiculous, however researches shows that most of the time people especially those who are professional and confident might forget or breach very simple and obvious fact due to their high self confidence while this simple act could completely avoid complexity of making those mistakes.
