Considero que una de las formas más efectivas o que al menos a mi mejor me han funcionado, es hacer que la conferencia o ponencia sea una construcción de todos los que estamos presentes. Salir del Yo-protagonista y construir entre todos un espacio de conocimiento, experiencias y relaciones. Para ello es esencial traer temas de interés común y determinantes para nuestro día a día en las respectivas posiciones profesionales que ejercemos. Que la comunicación no sea unilateral, sino multilateral, todos participando, abriéndonos y contando experiencias. Esto dejará el espacio abierto, para que posteriormente, el Networking sea más relacional y menos transaccional. Lo que considero, que crea relaciones duraderas y como consecuencia, negocios.

Una de las prácticas que me han funcionado al interactuar a partir del rol de conferencista, es incluirme como participante de manera previa para poder interactuar, escuchar y reconocer expectativas. It is true and common to have minor setbacks in the conferences, such as the exibit you were looking forward is exclusive and caters to certain audience or the session that you thought would be of relevance turns out to be not interesting. In such cases; have a second option ready, be flexible and move around. It is good to have a map and plan but you need to be flexible and adaptable.

Flexibilidad y adaptabilidad, dos valiosas habilidades esenciales que en la actualidad son requeridas en todo tipo de situaciones. Como conferenciante o participante se me hace muy interesante mantener una mentalidad abierta para situaciones inesperadas, en el primer caso como conferenciante aún cuando ya está elaborado el tema y subtemas a tratar, suelo encontrarme con preguntas que pueden estar relacionadas, pero se distancian del tema central, sin embargo, prestar atención a lo que se hace relevante para los participantes es mejor que no tomarlos en cuenta y al satisfacer esas dudas las personas se sienten más conectadas y después puedo volver a retomar el tema. ?Desafiante? Claro que sí, pero, con mentalidad flexible todo fluye.
