One thing that I have seen working well for introvert leaders is that they engage with important stakeholders one on one before important board meetings. They are pre aligned with these powerful people. So when the topic comes up in a larger forum, others see that 2 or 3 key people are in favour of the strategic step. This makes others agree too.
