Be wary of embedding AI into your SDLC. I see it as sophisticated cut and paste of (somebody else's) source code. If AI is writing your code is it almost brownfield by default (where is the institutional knowledge being created in this process of generating this code programmatically?) Testing becomes critical. Bugs always tend to cluster and cluster around edge cases to boot. AI coding does not consider edge cases well. There are IP implications with using AI generated codes as is right now. Do not leave your hard won experience at the door and assume AI will produce perfect code/ increase productivity. At it's worst this is industrialised cargo cult programming that nobody in your organisation knows intimately
