As these might be very expensive, you need to include this budget in your overall project cost (not necessarily in your R&D budget depending on the financial rules that apply to your organization). The rest is highly dependent on your field and what level of verification, validation need to be documented – FDA, IVDR regulation provide clear understanding of minimal requirements but your QMS (quality management system) will also guide what needs to be included in your budget.
