I was leading a meeting and my son (4.5 years old) came and starting playing around me creating a ruckus! While it's important to ensure that there are minimal distractions, in today's time and place, it works for us to accept this interruptions without blaming anyone. We coach people on managing their space so that there are no distractions but if there are any, then instead of making it significant, we all have fun with the interruption together. I introduced my son to the participants. Took their alignment, gave him some toys to play with and then went on with the work merrily. It worked !
