People who are driven to advance their career through promotion generally feel that they can contribute in a broader manner than they presently do. It’s always good to learn everything you can about not only your role, but roles you take interest in. Is beneficial to try and get a little bit of peripheral “training” to begin to build that acumen. Once you’re able to demonstrate the drive and desire to move forward and are able to demonstrate the capacity for more responsibility and a higher functioning roll it will become much easier to navigate and attract various opportunities out there within your organization.

So many "bosses", and not leaders has killed my desire to carry on. It's always been about making a difference for me. But the fight has taken its toll.

Find the right platform or moment to identify. If this is an unknown, you can work as hard as you can but will only look normal if you do not put extra value to your expectations. When you know what is expected of you, those expectations should be put on highest priority and completed with extra detailed effort. Doing your normal job with a detailed emphasis on your expectations will make your evaluation shine.

Most people will learn some skills on the job during the onboarding process, while others will need to be extensively trained on job-specific technical skills. I firmly believe that leading by example means pouring my utmost effort and commitment into our collective success. For me, leadership isn't about standing apart; it's about diving in, working alongside the team, investing my energy and dedication to ensure our plant operations thrive.

In my experience, I can say that seeking feedback is one of the most effective method. You may do right or wrong but you can learn better when your manager or peers give feedback to you. You can learn from their perspective and can understand which method is better and sustainable.
