Hay varios indicadores que pueden medir cual ha sido el impacto de un programa de mentoria. 1) Cuál es el nivel de satisfacción del mentee con su mentor (cuestionario de satisfacción). 2) A los meses, realizar una prueba de conocimientos para valorar si el conocimiento todavía está presente. 3) Observar si el mentee está utilizando a diario las habilidades trabajadas durante el proceso de mentoring. En este caso es el propio jefe quien deberá ser evaluador. 4) Medir el retorno en la inversión (ROI) del proceso de mentoring. Para ello se pueden evaluar los costes de la acción y ver el incremento en los resultados comparando con otras personas en posiciones similares que no hayan tenido ese proceso de tutorización y/o formación.

En primera instancia debemos establecer los objetivos que sean claros y concisos, debemos tener en cuenta que estos van dirigidos al aprendizaje de los miembros de los equipos y que depende de la mentoría su desarrollo personal, además de deben de seleccionar a los participantes en base a los objetivos, posterior se eligen a los mentores que son aquellos que cuentan con expertis en el tema y además estén certificados como instructores (de preferencia, ya que el ense?ar también tiene su metodología), Un programa de mentoría exitoso se planifica cuidadosamente para cumplir con los objetivos de la organización y sus participantes. Y será aun mas exitoso si las empresas están dispuesta a dedicar el tiempo y los recursos necesarios.

Toda mentoría tiene como finalidad un aprendizaje interiorizado y la ejecución de lo aprendido siempre que sume a su desempe?o. La mentoría puede ser puntual o continua a lo que, requiere de dos métodos de evaluación. (Mentoría puntual) - Mediante un cuestionario posterior a la mentoría para valorar la información retenida. (Mentoría continua) - Con 3 evaluaciones durante durante 3 meses que permita valorar la practica ejecutiva de la mentoría realizada.

Not every one has the interpersonal skills and the 'heart' to be a mentor, despite being great leaders or high achievers. Training to be a good mentor is crucial and it has huge impact on the career / life of a mentee. an independent feed back mechanism, always helps to tweak and fine tune any motorship program.
