To make the hospitality industry more welcoming starts already when the traveler dreams and searches for a destination, plans and books a trip. The traveler is 100% digitized. The hospitality and tourism industry is lacking behind. The traveler doesn't get what they desire from hospitality providers and destinations and therefore make use of online travel agents (OTA) to which the hospitality provider pays between 60% & 80% of the GOP. This is not economically sustainable. Hospitality and Tourism providers and destinations need to make sure that they have a perfect visibility, the digital presence is aligned to the traveler mental model, actively manage reputation and provide the best deals on their website for a direct booking.
