How can you maintain system security with multiple programming languages?

Having just gone through the experience of writing an Incident Response Plan for our AWS cloud based services I can relate to the issues presented here. I would say that first and foremost, a security oriented culture is the most important aspect for a development team. A team that doesn't take security concerns serious cannot maintain security regardless of the programming language(s) used. As a good practice, having a group that is responsible and empowered to ensure best practices are followed and that policies and plans are generated and maintained is a must. In a small company, this team may be the developers themselves. Having developers on your security/process team is a great way to get buy-in and foster responsible attitudes.

Developers working with multiple programming languages should follow coding guidelines/standards that cover Input validation, Authentication, Authorization, Encryption, and error handling. Developers can implement authentication and authorization mechanisms for accessing sensitive data, security standards such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, and JWT for authentication, and RBAC for authorization can be used.

Maintaining system security in a .NET ecosystem that involves multiple programming languages requires a comprehensive approach that addresses the unique security considerations of each language, while also leveraging the security features provided by the .NET framework and related tools. I disagree with Team training approach. A company should always aim to automate its technical rules as much as possible. This should be considered together with Infra/Devops team. In addition, if we talking about semiconductors or very HW tight SW product, we can also consider HW hacks to avoid mutual run-over of code. Or at least debug features for post analysis purposes.
