Before delving into the realm of courses, one must acknowledge the fact that practice or practicality is a non-negotiable constant when it comes to learning any new skill, but especially design. Introspect a little bit and try to acquaint yourself with the specialisation you want to learn or gain insights in. Be it motion graphics, UI/UX design, graphic design, or what have you. Next, scope out articles, blogs, YouTube videos to gain some raw insights about the kind of software, tools, technologies you might require, for that particular field. Largely, it could be Adobe's Creative Suite or Figma or Canva. Start with basic YT tutorials and move on from there. Play around with basic tools & functions, then move on to professional courses!

There can be two kinds of design mentors ?? 1) Someone who has a lot of knowledge/experience but is not active on social media. It can be people in your connection, senior designers in the design community, etc. ?? 2) Someone who has a lot of knowledge/experience and is actively contributing back to the design community by teaching mentees and sharing their learnings on social media. Finding a mentor of 2nd kind and learning from them is easy but If you admire someone's work and want to learn from them (those who belong to the first category) You can always reach out to them and ask if they can mentor you. Benefit: Since they are not occupied with tons of students' doubts, your every question can get answered in private mentorship.
