in disaster prone community, the use of advance building materials ,design and technological innovations are sustainable practices. for instance in the case of earth quakes there are building that will absorb the earth movement without the building collapsing on people. which is a form building a resilence and sustainable city. that can thrive in the face of disaster. more so part of the prepared ness is that, there must be city food storage large enough to curb massive hunger after major disastrous event.
