No matter the role/ title we have. Communication, trust and collaboration will keep being key elements to perform in to bring better outcome around the teams we support / work with. We cannot assume that people know what we know. Especially in big organizations, silos are still present and not everyone has the knowledge of what the other teams are working on each single day. We all see the top part of the iceberg but soooo much is immersed. we need to keep being opened and enable people around us so we can all save time and energy. Most of the time, out tools and processes are frustrating, but without them, we could not do what we do. It is key to stay objective, share what works, what has to be adjusted and find solutions.

How you communicate should be very clear to all of your team members. Do you submit EOD reports? Do you communicate with memos? Do you take weekly feedback from your team? Every aspect of your communication should be understood by all of your team members. That’s the first step.

Don't forget, sometimes the best tool you have is getting everyone on the project in the same room and rolling it out. This will allow everyone to speak openly, ask questions and help with any confusion about the overall goal of the project.

Nobody received more attention, while others felt left out. Make sure the atmosphere is company-friendly so nobody feels left behind. Be open to their ideas but never make them feel as if you are overlooking them because what they offer is of no worth. Create small teams within the company to work on different projects. Everybody within the organization has a purpose.

Being a Marketing Project Leader requires some traits i.e, encouraging others to speak up, listening, acceptance, and responsiveness. You never know, what best you can get from your sub-ordinates, explicit knowledge and on field experiences of your team members might help you to reorganize, rearrange and reschedule the critical activities. Moreover, a closed feedback loop should be in place for continuous flow of data and work proactively.

Transparency: Strive for openness in sharing information, decisions, and the rationale behind actions to build trust and engagement.
